Holy Crap!

uartsbookarts:

Just finishing up our Indiegogo campaign and wanted to share some numbers —

On our campaign page alone we had 821 visitors, 17,020 page views, and 123 funders raising a total of $5,315.

We had funders hailing from 59 different cities, 20 US states, and 2 countries!

Thank you so much everyone — this trip was life changing!

Of Time and Technology: A Daily Teatime Event

Dear Friends,

Please come visit me while I stay at The Schmutz Lodge as a visiting artist this August! Expect tea, some snacks, and conversation. Possible highlights include tea I bought on a recent trip to South Korea and my perennial favorite: thyme iced tea.

Let’s talk about the passing of time, how we perceive the process of moving on, constant internet access, and various other things that affect us day to day. Let’s discuss the finer points of Repo Man, Pump Up the Volume, or the state of radio technology and access today. Maybe I’ll even show you some things I’m working on.

Share some space on the porch with me for awhile and enjoy summer. Pass along to friends, please!

**August 13th-24th, everyday, 9am-12pm**

**5405 Broad Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206**

Best,
Jenn

On the top half: work designed and printed by Ellen Haines. The bottom half was done by me. Great collaboration that made printing this beast waaaaay more fun. Now I just gotta send them out!

Finished poster!

Just some things I’ve been doing to keep me insanely busy… notice the head photobomb in the bottom right corner of the black and white drawing — now it’s totally a real ‘snapshot.’

uartsbookarts:

Some images of our almost finished “Korea Snapshot” poster — images drawn by J. Pascoe and Ellen Haines! We should get these beauties printed this weekend!

Internship at the American Philosophical Society!

Beginnings of a two color poster...

While in Korea I went to the Movable Type Workshop in Paju. It was pretty amazing.

This was just one of the places I went on my recent trip to South Korea — Jang Ji Bang Studios was AMAZING!

Truth. Also, this is a modest photo of all the empty plates we left behind.

The food in Seoul is delicious. You can see there is nothing left.

A favorite photo taken at Jogyesa Temple in Seoul. More to come, I’m sure.
